The Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, has described Pa Reuben Fasoranti as a highly principled man who is also contented.
Iba Adams said these while congratulating Pa Fasoranti on the remarkable occasion of his 100th birthday celebration, noting that the elder statesman is one of the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural leaders to live to witness hundred years.
In a message filled with admiration and respect, the Yoruba generalissimo praised Pa Fasoranti's unwavering commitment to the advancement of Yorubaland and Nigeria as a whole.
"This centenary celebration is a testament to your enduring strength, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to the Yoruba people and Nigeria at large," he said.
Adams noted that Pa Fasoranti’s leadership in the Afenifere movement had been instrumental in fostering unity and progress among the Yoruba people.
"His dedication to education, exemplified by the establishment of institutions such as Omolere Nursery and Primary School, Akure High School, and St. Joseph's College, has left a lasting impact on society," he said.
Iba Adams highlighted Pa Fasoranti’s tireless advocacy for democracy and justice, pointing out that the legend had inspired generations.
"As Pa Fasoranti marks this extraordinary milestone, I join countless others in honouring his legacy and wishing him continued health and happiness.
