The Adewole Adebayo-Bugaje Presidential Campaign has celebrated the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, on his 72nd birthday, describing him as a global icon of faith, leadership and human development.
In a birthday message signed by the Head of its Communications Directorate, Comrade Mark Adebayo, copy of which was made available to newsmen on Sunday the campaign council said Oyedepo's life and ministry represented a demonstration of unwavering faith, obedience to divine instruction and commitment to improving the human condition.
The campaign council commended the cleric for his contributions to Christianity through his ministry, the World Mission Agency and Living Faith Church Worldwide, saying he had built institutions that reflected his vision and commitment to spreading the Gospel.
It also highlighted Oyedepo's contributions to education, youth empowerment, job creation and philanthropy, noting that his vision had produced world-class educational institutions that were shaping the character, intellect and spiritual development of successive generations.
The statement said: "We particularly celebrate your impactful, cross-generational contributions to humanity and the Christian faith."
It added that Oyedepo's investments in human capital development, youth empowerment, employment generation and philanthropic initiatives had helped address poverty and ignorance among families across the world.
The campaign council further said the bishop had demonstrated that faith could serve as a catalyst for national development, structural transformation and societal renewal.
It noted that Oyedepo's life's work resonated with the campaign's vision of a nation anchored on righteousness, productivity, structural excellence and concern for vulnerable citizens.
"We particularly celebrate your impactful, cross-generational contributions to humanity and the Christian faith. As a peerless pioneer in the educational sector, your vision has birthed world-class institutions that continue to shape the character, intellect, and spiritual stamina of successive generations of leaders.
"Your heavy investments in human capital development, massive youth empowerment, robust job creation, and extensive philanthropic outreaches have broken the chains of poverty and ignorance for countless families worldwide.
"You have consistently demonstrated that faith is not passive, but a driving force for national development, structural transformation, and societal renewal.
"Your life's work continues to inspire our campaign's vision for a nation anchored on righteousness, productivity, structural excellence, and genuine care for the underprivileged," it stated.
The campaign council prayed for renewed strength, greater vision and continued impact for the celebrant as he entered another year.
"May your oil remain ever fresh, may your vision continue to expand, and may your profound impact on our generation and those to come multiply exceedingly," it said, describing Oyedepo as "a solid pillar of truth, a beacon of hope, and a relentless builder of destinies," while wishing him a happy 72nd birthday.
